The Art Department with deviantART brings you about the best news any art student could ask for: free tuition!

Through the Train Your Brain Challenge, The Art Department (TAD) is offering a massive number of exclusive scholarship opportunities to members of deviantART. TAD is the best of the best in providing online art education, with a variety of programs taught by world-class fac



It is part of a larger, 22-minute work in progress which is why there's no foley'd sound, just dialogue. But this is as much as I could do in a month. Obviously I still have a lot of work ahead of me.

The deadline for this contest has been a great kick in the pants to stay focused and work hard. And I've really enjoyed seeing the other entries. Some of the submissions are unbelievable!

I must point out that the graffiti quote, "You are a victim of the rules you live by," isn't angsty jibberish at all, but one of Jenny Holzer's brilliant truisms. The Sheriff obviously needs more exposure to fine art.

I did see your entry! :thumb341047034: You're incredibly talented! Love your gallery, too. Sherlock is so great.

I use ToonBoom Animate Pro (I LOVE IT). I create my backgrounds using Photoshop and Illustrator.
